Editorial Policy

The Pioneer Journal of Biostatistics and Medical Research (PJBMR) upholds a comprehensive editorial policy that ensures integrity, transparency, and objectivity in the management and decision-making processes of all submitted manuscripts.

All articles undergo a preliminary assessment by the editorial team to evaluate alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, originality, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and adherence to author guidelines. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific merit and relevance of the work, without regard to the authors’ nationality, institutional affiliation, race, gender, or religious beliefs. Editors are expected to maintain confidentiality throughout the review and decision process and must disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Manuscripts may be rejected prior to peer review if they are out of scope, of insufficient quality, or violate ethical guidelines.

In cases where revisions are required, clear and constructive editorial feedback is provided. Final decisions regarding acceptance or rejection are made by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with associate editors and based on peer reviewers’ recommendations. The complete editorial policy, including roles of the editorial board, ethical responsibilities, and decision timelines, is available on the journal’s official website to ensure transparency and accessibility for all stakeholders.
